I am thrilled to be back in orthodontics! I spent 13 years working chairside in California before moving overseas as a military wife. Since joining the Smile Team here, I am really enjoying going into the surrounding communities representing our office and Dr. Hughes. My other passions are spending time with my three adult children, traveling with my husband and mentoring teen girls.

I am the wife of a 20-year Navy veteran and have lived all over the country. I am enjoying being settled here in Northern Virginia and also working in orthodontics. I was born in Texas and have raised a son who is now an adult. I have worked in the orthodontic field for 20 years. I love volunteering at my church, especially working in the nursery and with the children’s ministry. I enjoy being around kids, because I’m a kid at heart!

I moved to the northern Virginia area from Virginia Beach where I grew up. I have been a clinical assistant for 17 years, 15 of those in orthodontics. What I love about my job is the patients! It makes my day interesting getting to know them and helping them feel comfortable during their appointments. Outside the office I am a huge roller derby fan-both on and off the track!
